We are no exception, we're Joline and Aaron, and we've decided to incorporate having adventures near and far, big and small now while we are healthy, strong, and capable. We know it will be a balance; fortunately, we can work from anywhere – well, as long as there is internet! If you have a world traveler in you who's just begging to be released, our travel blog and the stories we tell may just be the inspiration you need to throw caution to the wind and embark on your own magical tour to places here and there.

One Adventure After Another

If there is one thing we are, it's adventurous. In fact, there's probably no place on Earth we haven't thought about visiting at one time or another. Should you feel the same, you've come to the right spot. As our travels broaden and our blog fills up with more and more stories, we're sure you'll be captivated by what you'll learn about various cultures and the endless possibilities that exist while seeing the world.

Choosing Our Own Course

Like us, you've probably spent many years conforming to a 9-5 lifestyle and all that goes with it. But as the years have progressed and our responsibilities have changed, meaning all of our kids have grown up and moved out, we decided the time was right for us to choose our own course. While it can be a decision that makes you a bit nervous, balancing travel, grandkids, and a business, what we found was there is no better time than now! There is a sense of freedom and excitement that washes over us when we decided on a new adventure.

Destinations, Food, and People

Once we decided to travel the world, the number of destinations that came to mind made us even more eager to get started. Whether it's the beautiful landscapes of Iceland, the melt-in-your-mouth food of Italy, we never know exactly where we will go next, and that's the beauty of our adventure. Even if you can't get away on a world trip at the moment, you can experience it through our eyes. From eye-catching photos of people and places to the funny stories that always come from travels that have little if any planning associated with them, we hope you'll be laughing along with us each step of the way.

Helpful Hints and Tricks

When we first lost our minds and decided to embark on our grand adventure, there was no blueprint and little if any information from others who had done the same thing over the years. While discovering things on our own has been fun, we've also realized there are many tips and tricks that can be used to make the biggest or smallest of adventures even better. Thus, we want to bring our readers not only the great stories about our trips and the people we meet, but also some hints and tricks we've found to be helpful as we explore every nook and cranny of our planet.

Rediscovering Our Enthusiasm

Even if you've had a career you've loved, raised a family, and made more than enough money to buy the fanciest of possessions, there comes a time in our lives when we need to rediscover our enthusiasm. By embarking on our grand adventure, we have done that and then some. Whenever we witness something new, be it a festival, ancient ceremony, or anything else, we feel like we did when we were kids. When we think back to how we felt when we received a new toy for Christmas or got something cool for our birthday, that's the same feeling we experience on our travels. If laughter and fun do truly keep you young, we'll never have to worry about getting old.

Well, that's about it for now.
